Description
Half Marathon (limited to 500) starts at 7:00 a.m.
Water and gatorade will be provided at aid stations on the Half Marathon Course.
Half Marathon course closes at 11:30 a.m. (All runners/walkers unable to maintain at least a 20 minute per mile pace will be diverted).
All Half Marathon finishers will receive a custom medal at the finish line as well as a t-shirt at packet pick-up.
Half Marathon Packet Pick-up is on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 9am - 5pm at the CMT YMCA. Packets must be picked up on 5/21/11. Please contact Miriam Bell (618) 346-5600 if unable to pick up packet on 5/21/11.
Top 3 male and female overall finishers in the Half Marathon will receive awards.
There will be Half Marathon Age Group awards for the top 3 male and female finishers in each of the following divisions: 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & up.
Non-competitive (untimed) Family 3 Mile Run/Walk (limited to 500) starts at 10:30 a.m. Water will be provided on the Family 3 Mile Run/Walk course. All 3 Mile Family Run/Walk finishers will receive a finisher's ribbon.
Kids' 1/2 Mile Fun Run (untimed) starts at 11:15 a.m. All Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run Finishers will receive a ribbon.
Healthy Family Event will be held from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Activities include bounce house, poster making station, youth fitness activities and health expo.
