About This Activity

Program Goals & Objectives:The Greenville Recreation and Parks South Greenville Day Camp primary purpose will be to provide safe and fun recreational activities for children ages 5-13. Focusing on four primary goals each day at camp will do this: 1. Assist each camper in reaching their highest potential during activities.2. Improve camper's awareness of recreation, education and community resources.3. Integrate the campers into the community.4. Provide a safe, healthy environment for the children and the staff.Transportation:Children are transported to activities on buses. We will provide transportation on activity buses by qualified CDL drivers eachday. Lunch:Free lunch will be provided at South Greenville Elementary School for all children each day. They do have the option of bringinga bag lunch and drink daily.Medication Policy:If your child has to take medication during the course of the camp day, please be sure that the proper forms are filled out andreturned to the camp supervisor on the first day of camp. These forms are available at registration, Jaycee Park Administrativeoffices (2000 Cedar Lane, Greenville, NC 27858) and South Greenville Recreation Center.Before and After Camp (Extended Care): Please do not leave your child before the 9:00am drop off time:If you must leave your child before 9:00am, you must sign up for extended care which will be held at South Greenville. Thecost for coverage will be $10.00 per day from 7:30-9:00am and from 3:00-5:30pm. Please complete an extended care form priorto the first day of camp. We discourage picking children up early or dropping childrenoff late. If you must pick up your child early, please notify the South Greenville Day Camp supervisor in advance.*Please send correct change & no checks for field trips! Please also be prompt in dropping off & picking up your child!*
