This is a destination race! Enjoy the small-town spirit and gorgeous lake and mountain views of the Round Valley Run/Walk.
Course Info: Main Run: A 5.4 mile cross country loop course around the lake. Terrain is mostly flat through meadows and forest. It is possibly the most scenic course you'll ever run (or walk). Surface is mostly dirt with some pavement. Junior event: (ages 11 - 16) is a flat up and back 1.5 mile course. Walk course: 2 miles, mostly flat, up and back. Kid's Run: Prior to main event. A 200-yard mini-course on paved surface. Race Day Schedule Registration & Check-in: 7:30-8:30 a.m. Kid's run: 8:30 a.m. Main 5.4, Junior 1.5, and Walk event: 9:00 a.m. Divisions And Prizes Main event: Medals and prizes awarded 3 deep in each age group and gender (7 divisions). Overall male and female winners will be awarded a food or lodging gift certificate, as well as a framed photo of their finish. Runner-ups will be awarded a framed photo of their finish. Junior event: Medals and prizes awarded 3 deep in each age group and gender (2 divisions). Winners will receive a gift and a framed photograph of their finish. Kids event: Winning boy and girl will receive a prize. Race participation is free and limited to children 10 and under. Walk event: Ribbons will be awarded to all finishing walkers. Parking Available at designated/marked areas near start location and in day use areas between the dam and start area. Family and friends coming to watch need to arrive by 8:15 a.m. as road is part of course and will be blocked. Accommodations/ Weekend Events There are numerous camping locations, motels, hotels, B&B’s and restaurants available.
