Event Information:

Freedom Marathon, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to raise awareness and enlist support from the public through running events that help sponsor the needs of the Veterans and their families.

Our Cause is helping the Nation's veterans that stood in the door of danger and have sacrificed much for our country. In particular, we are focused on assisting injured Veterans from Iraq and Afgahnistan that continue to fight long after they have returned home. But it's not enemy fire they're facing; it's the complications of re-integrating to society.

Our Cause involves partnering with the City of Green Cove Springs to assist homeless Veterans. They served among the ranks of United States service members who fought for freedom in wars around the globe. Now they can be found among the ranks of the nations homeless.

Our Cause is to assist those troubled by Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Proceeds from each year's marathon and related events will fund race operations and help support Veterans and their families. The assistance will include support for wounded warriors returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. We will provide support for their families. Our programs will include scholarships, grants and assistance to other needy veterans.

Freedom Marathon, Inc. is committed to being the very best of its kind. We envision a dynamic program that positively engages and encourage everyone by offering diverse opportunities for the development of physical fitness, health and wellness in order to reach their potential and maintain the productivity necessary to meet the challenges of work and life.
