About This Activity

The 7th Annual Aurora BayCare Triathlon is designed for those who want a kick start to the triathlon season. It features a man-made lake in Ashwaubomay Park that is perfect for first-time triathlete.

Health Expo, Registration & Packet Pick-Up

Packet pick-up will be available at Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine Center, 1160 Kepler Drive, Green Bay:

-Saturday, June 1, 2 - 5 p.m.

At Ashwaubomay Park:

- Race Day, 5 - 6:45 a.m.

Distances

Sprint: 1/4 mile swim, 15 mile bike , 3.1 mile run; Olympic: 1/2 mile swim, 29 mile Bike, 6.2 mile run

Swim Course

The swim is in man-made Ashwaubomay Lake. The water is very shallow, and there will be plenty of buoys along the course for sighting and to rest on if needed. A large and colorful balloon arch will be located at the swim finish to help guide swimmers out of the water. Wetsuits may be worn. Swim caps are mandatory and will be provided by Midwest Sports Events.

Bike Course

The bike course heads out of the park going west and travels through Green Bay, De Pere, Ashwaubenon and Hobart. Roads are paved and in great condition. The bike course is marked at every fifth mile and every turn with large signage.

Run Course

The run begins in Ashwaubomay Park and heads north on Broadway along the Fox River. It is an out and back, flat course with a water and Gatorade station. Every mile and every turn on the run course is marked with large signage.

5K/10K Courses

Both courses follow the run courses for the triathlon.

Awards

Overall awards go to the top three female and male winners and age group winners in the following 5-year age categories: 14 and under to 95 plus. Awards go to the top three relay teams and the top three in the Athena and Clydesdale divisions.

Midwest Sports Events Amenities

All participants receive a dri-wick shirt, swim cap, chip timing and plenty of entertainment. There will be a post-event buffet with pancakes and healthy breakfast snacks to refuel. Go to midwestsportsevents.com for more details.

Midwest Sports Events Refund Policy

There will be NO REFUNDS issued for any reason. There are absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

TRANSFER FROM 2013 TO 2014 EVENT: There will be NO TRANSFERS from this year's event to future year's events.

RACE FEE TRANSFER: There will be NO TRANSFER OF FEES from one race to another

TRANSFER TO ANOTHER ATHLETE: Race fee can be transfered to another individual. However, there is a $10 processing fee to complete the transfer.
