AIDS Walk and Run is coming back to downtown Grand Rapids on September 14th, 2013! This is a fun fund and awareness raising 5K walk/run to support the work of The Grand Rapids Red Project. Come out and enjoy the sun, and a beautiful walk/run along the riverside, all while supporting a good cause!
The Grand Rapids Red Project is dedicated to improving health, reducing risk, and preventing HIV in the city of Grand Rapids. We are out in the community every day providing access to the knowledge, tools, information and support that people need to stay healthy. Come out and support us and our life saving work through AIDS Walk and Run 2013!
So how can you get involved? Register today, join a team, or sign up to be a fundraiser. Anyone can fundraise and support HIV prevention; it's that easy! A donation of as little as $10 can make a huge impact in someone's life.
Ten dollars could help Red Project distribute 200 condoms when and where they're needed. It can be used to train someone how to respond to a life-threatening overdose situation and save a life. Or it can be used to support HIV testing so someone can learn their status. Red Project will put your donations to work.
Can you donate ten dollars? Can your friends, family and neighbors? Sign up to be a fundraiser today and find out! It feels good to make a difference in your community, and through supporting AIDS Walk and Run 2013, you will do just that!
At Red Project, we like to see the community get involved. That's why we are offering a $5 discount on registration for anyone who joins a team. Successful teams from the past have been formed by co-workers, families, friends, and just like-minded individuals. Who will be on your walk/run team this year? Get out and get involved!
Join us Septmeber 14th, 2013 for the 21st anniversary of AIDS Walk and Run Grand Rapids. Let's celebrate life, and remember those we have lost, all while raising funds to support the life saving and life sustaining work of The Grand Rapids Red Project. No matter how you do it, get involved. We can end this epidemic together.
