Saginaga Lake is queen among the more than one thousand lakes and streams of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. She is both the deepest and largest lake in the BWCAW and has an abundance of islands and inlets to explore. Her size provides a big water kayaking adventure, yet those countless islands and inlets offer an intimacy that can’t be found with other sea kayaking experiences. And it is this intimacy that makes the Saganaga Lake Sea Kayaking Adventure so special and unique. Only four kayaks total are allowed on each Sag tour and there are no portages, so it is the perfect for novice kayakers or anyone who wants a fun and fast excursion.
