What's Included

The Best of Both Worlds MHA students live at home for half the year and attend their hometown schools for two of the four quarters of the school year. They graduate with their hometown school classmates. Many receive academic awards and participate in sports and arts activities at the schools in their home communities. At the beginning of each winter, "About when I start getting antsy to ski", one student said, "we move to Mt. Hood where we become part of a community with other people who have the same goals and dreams.” A community of respect and support is fostered. The season begins with activities that help build ties between students, staff and coaches. The culture of connectedness encourages students to give their best in school and on snow.
