About This Activity

Come join us for our First Annual 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk event to raise funds for Hope Animal Rescues, located in Godfrey, IL.

Hope Animal Rescues is a non-profit dog rescue that has saved 1,938 animals since its founding in 2005. Hope Rescues pulls dogs on their last day of life from animal controls and cares for them until they are able to find them a forever home. Hope Rescues relies solely on the kindness and donations of others to keep their operation going.

Run 4 Rescue 5K/1Mile Mutt Strut

Both courses take place at the beautiful Glazebrook Park located at w 1401 Stamper Lane in Godfrey, IL, taking runners through a breath-taking walking trail.

1 Mile Mutt Strut
Pet and people friendly leashed dogs are welcome to join walkers. All canine participants must be spayed/neutered and current on all vaccinations. Awards for the top 3 best dressed dogs!

Trophies to the top 3 male and female finishers. Medals and ribbons for Top 3 Place in all divisions:

Divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54 & Over

Top three best-dressed dogs

Packet Pick Up

Packets will be available during race day registration. Early packet Pick-up available on Friday 11/15 from 1 - 6 pm at Atlantis Pools, 3000 Homer M Adams Parkway, Alton IL.

A family & pet friendly event, bring the family and come out a great time, watch some best-dressed dogs strut their stuff, meet some great folks, and help raise funds for a great cause!!!

Hope Rescues is 100% volunteer, non-profit corporation. 100% of all donations go to the care and rehabilitation of the animals. Fund raisers and private donations are essential every month in order to cover the cost of running the sanctuary.

Collecting donations from sponsors is encouraged but not required. Pledge form will be emailed to participants. Prizes Awarded to Top 3 Fund Raisers!

Fees

All fees include T-Shirts (first 200 Early-Bird Registered Only), runner goodie bag, after-run water/snacks. Reg by Sept 1 to guarantee shirt & size.
