sharp, snappy, toucan
What started as a harness knife for cutting nattty webbing off rap anchors, this little blade stays clipped to my car keys and I find uses for it everyday. While not a lock blade, the action is stiff and stays put, so no need to fear a surprise opening or finger gouging chop. Super light weght. I cut energy bars, tedious packaging and feel some security while night skiing in cougar country ( I am deluding myself) Hard still blade, keeper hole, shaped life a toucan....what more do you want?

Just what I expected
Nice and handy knife that I keep handy for those unexpected times. Blade doesn't look, but that is fine by me.

This knife is the perfect little thing to take hiking/climbing-- small, easy, and super cute! I have yet to find any problems.

Lightweight and Sharp
I am pleasantly surprised with this knife, and have to say that I like it. I was really just looking for something better than a swiss army knife for carrying in my backpack. Compared to other knives, the Spatha is difficult to open. You have to use two hands and hold the blue ring at the axis point, but I would argue that is a good thing. It is also a very sharp backpacking/climbing knife with serations good for cutting your partner loose.

hiking knife
I use this knife for hiking in the Canadian north. It hasn't let me down yet. One down side, the lubrication from the blade tends to leak a bit. Nothing a quick wipe won't resolve. Great weight to performance ratio. There is no blade locking mechanism.
