This bike ride is a charity event benefiting Family Promise of Hall County, an organization in Gainesville, Georgia which provides housing, meals, and education for homeless families in this area. 13 area churches have joined forces and are making a positive difference right here, right now.
How many miles?
Routes of 10, 25, 63 miles (just 3 miles short of a metric century) will be offered. See maps below.
Mt. Vernon Elementary School is in the North Hall County area. From Gainesville, go north on Thompson Bridge Road (hwy 60), turn right onto Mt. Vernon Road (Hwy 283), turn right onto Jim Hood Road. School will be on the left.
The North Hall County area is very hilly! There are some long graded hills, equally matched with long, thrilling downhills!!!
Events for kids?
Yes! We're planning some fun activities for the kids and their little bikes - bring them!!! Also, there is a wonderful playground and plenty of room for playing safely!!

Come join us for a rockin' good time in the hills of north Georgia.
