Our Gator Experience camp will consist of position specific instruction from Florida Baseball coaches and players, as well as other college and high school coaches. Additional instruction, along with video analysis in hitting and pitching, weight training, a nutritional information session, along with live games with pitchers throwing on a pitch count, will all be part of camp. All camp participants will have access to all of the same facilities that Florida Baseball players have. Campers will receive their own locker in the Florida Gators clubhouse, as well as some of the same apparel that the Florida Baseball team wears. Hitters will be able to take advantage of the state-of-the-art Pro Hitter. This allows hitters to closely simulate game at-bats without needing an actual pitcher to throw to them. Pitchers will be able to utilize the same pitching technique equipment that the Florida Gators pitching staff uses on a daily basis. Campers will receive instructional development on Sunday. On Monday and Tuesday, campers will receive instructional development in the morning and will play live games during the afternoon. On Wednesday, players will receive instruction in the morning and will play a live game under the lights on Wednesday night. Camp will conclude on Thursday with an Iron Gator challenge. All activities are weather permitting and may have to be shuffled or rescheduled due to inclement weather.
