Beginner Ballet/Tap (Ages 5-7) - Session III

About This Activity

Grace and beauty along with making some noise! Designed for the dancer who has never had a dance class and students just moving into the elementary age group. We will use fun, engaging music. Your dancer will learn the basics of classical ballet, including introducing the barre, intricate floor patterns, and then switch gears to emphasize footwork and rhythm in tap. Attire: pink tights, leotard (class color can be found at Releve Dancewear in Cary by telling them your class time and instructor name, ballet skirts are allowed if they match your leotard), PINK ballet shoes and tap shoes. Hair should be worn in a bun and out of the face. Registration should be completed one week prior to the first class. Priority registration will be given to returning students.  Spring Recital only offered to students enrolled in Sessions III and IV.
