In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore a traditional technique of artmaking called "batik" to design a silk scarf. Batik printing is a method of artmaking that uses wax-resist to create the design. Along the way, students will explore themes related to design, color, pattern, and technique to hone their art skills and discover some new ways of creating.
