Please join us for our first annual “Do It for Delaney“ Run at Quarry Lakes Regional Park in Fremont as we join together to raise money for Delaney Thomas. Race day registration and check in begin at 8am.
Who Is Delaney?
Dave and Maureen Thomas’ daughter, Delaney, was born with an extremely rare genetic condition resulting in microcephaly and cerebral palsy. In spite of her dire prognosis at three months of age, she has made remarkable progress. Special equipment and multiple therapy programs (as well as Delaney’s own spirit!) have made this possible. Now three years old, she is taking on new physical, mental and social challenges, and her need for special support is growing too.
Why should we "Do It For Delaney"?
The money raised will allow Delaney to attend an intensive therapy program where she has shown great success. In addition, donations will be made to Conductiva, a conductive education learning program, The Family Resource Network, a Bay Area organization assisting special needs families, and to The Foundation for Children with Microcephaly.
