This is the 16th year of Lodi and the 4th year that the race is part of the Virginia Off-Road Series. This year the race format will be the same as last year, with the same awesome atmosphere and sweet single track, except that we will start at 10 am and finish at 10 pm. If you have never done an endurance event or it';s your first time to race the Farm, we guarantee you will have a BLAST! And like last year, the race will be fueled with amazing prizes by no other than THE BIKE STOP!!! A HUGE thanks to B.O.B.!!! Make sure to check out his store in Culpeper, VA - it is well worth the trip!
Three and two person teams and solo endurance riders will race from 10 AM TO 10 PM on Saturday 5/4. We will set course to provide ~1 hour lap times. Most complete laps started before 10 PM wins. Primitive, but beautiful, camping will be permitted on site (BYO water, electricity, etc.).
The timing of this event should make for an awesome weekend of camping and celebrating post race. There will be sweet porta potties - why would you want showers or warmed toilet seats anyway, right? Make sure to bring what you need and take what you made!
Promise you won';t find a nicer 12 Hour set-up anywhere!
~9-10 mile laps of tight, windy, rolling single track. Some wet stream crossings and lots of roots. Old school FUN! Course will be similar to last year';s, but there are some new sections.
Saturday at 10 AM!
Awards will be given 3 deep in each category.
Solo Male, Solo Male Masters (40+) and Solo Male Clydesdale 200+, Solo Single Speed, Solo Women, Duo Male, Duo Coed, Duo Female, Expert 3 Person, Sport 3 Person, Beginner 3 Person, Single Speed 3 Person, Open (anything goes - if there are 3 teams of a non-existing category, we will add the category to the line up).
Awesome camping - simple, but beautiful. Beer! Coffee! Hammer Gels! PIZZA! MUSIC! Hopefully MASSAGE! The BEST atmosphere and AWESOME volunteers! Trust us - it';s a BLAST! PRINCETON TEC LIGHTS MIGHT BE THERE TO PROVIDE RENTAL LIGHTS - THEY ARE SPONSORING WITH PRIZES! We will have plugs to charge some lights, but these are limited in number.
Race Day registration will jump up by $10, so reserve your spot early!!
T-shirts will be guaranteed to all pre-registered riders until we run out, so the earlier you register, the better. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.
The trails of Lodi Farm are on the private property of Mrs. Grigg. We hope everyone will respect the land and its owner by leaving the farm as you found it - take your trash with you. Please give thanks, a hug, and a hand shake when you see Mrs. Grigg - we couldn';t continue this awesome race without her support of our sport!
