Brief Description:Destination Races presents the Annual Healdsburg Wine Country Half Marathon, located just north of Santa Rosa and San Francisco, California. This spectacular 13.1 mile course starts in Geyserville and curves through the beautiful Dry Creek Valley at the end of harvest when the vineyards are vibrant with fall colors, with a festive finish in Healdsburg. This is a Halloween-themed race and limited to 2,700 runners. A team competition is offered with minimum 6 runners per team.

Registration Categories:Registration for the 2012 Healdsburg Wine Country Half Marathon
- Second Chance Wait List - Once the race has sold out, runners will be able to sign up for the Second Chance Wait List ($5 fee). Typically, 50-100 registrations are made available via the Wait List. This is a weighted, random drawing based upon sign up date, so the earlier you sign up, the better your odds will be of receiving a final entry.

Extras:Guest Wine Glass
One wine glass included per each registered runner (must present ticket on race bib and photo ID at post-race festival to claim glass). Registered runners may also purchase extra wine glasses online for guests. $20 includes logo glass and wine tasting at post-race festival. Limit is 3 extra glasses.

Extras:Welcome Reception - Pizza and Pinot
A welcome reception will be held on Friday, October 26 at Truett-Hurst Winery. The reception will be held from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and includes wine and wood fired pizza! You'll have an opportunity to meet other runners from around the world, as well as event staff, other sponsors and a special guest. Wine tasting and appetizers are included. Cost is $35 in advance.

Extras:Finishers Party
Saturday after the race, 1:30pm-4:30pm at Clos du Bois Winery. After finishing the race, we invite you to the lovely French inspired Clos du Bois Winery. This party was a big hit last year, and we are returning once again for live music, croquet on the lawn, and a casual wine country lunch with Clos du Bois wine. The perfect way to Wine Down! Cost is $35.

Team Competition:Must have a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 20 participants to qualify as a team. Team competition is cumulative score of best 5 times on team, handicapped according to age and gender. Teams can be any combination of male and female runners with awards for the fastest overall team score and best costumed team.
