Course: 5K run/walk and 1-mile walk courses are located in Patterson Park. The 1-mile is a flat, single-loop course and the 5K is a rolling, double-loop course.
No headphones, baby joggers, skates, bicycles or pets allowed on the course. The course is handicap-accessible.
Parking: There is street parking surrounding the park.
From the South: Take I-95N to I-295N (Russell St.). Turn right onto W. Pratt St. Turn left onto S. President St. Turn right onto E. Baltimore St. Continue until you see signs leading you into the park.
From the North: Take I-83S (Jones Falls Expressway) until it turns into President St. Turn left onto East Baltimore St. Continue until you see signs leading you into the park.
Amenities: The first 300 registered participants receive a commemorative T-shirt; shirts will not be mailed to entrants. Water provided pre- and post-race as well as on the race course; splits at mile marks; post-race party with refreshments for all participants.
Awards: Cash awards to top three male and female overall finishers; prizes to top three male and female winners in each of the following age groups: 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. Random prizes for all participants.
Results: Charm City Run will provide finish line timing and race scoring. Complete race results will be posted immediately following the race.
Beneficiary: To raise money to support and assist victims of crime in Baltimore City who meet the criteria. By donating your time and resources, you will help victims of domestic violence, robbery, assaults, child abuse and sexual assault, as well as families affected by homicide. ]Funds also cover expenses such as broken windows, replacement of locks, identification cards and medical prescriptions.
