Brief Description:

Destination Races presents the Annual Healdsburg Wine Country Half Marathon, located just north of Santa Rosa and San Francisco, California. This spectacular 13.1 mile course curves through the beautiful Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys at the end of harvest when the vineyards are vibrant with fall colors.This is a Halloween-themed race and is limited to 2,200 runners. A team competition is offered with minimum 6 runners per team.

Registration Categories:

Registration for the 2011 Healdsburg Wine Country Half Marathon

  • Half Marathon (Individual) - Register as an individual
  • Team Registration - Register to join a team; your team captain must create the team first
  • Race Extras - Choose Race Extras if you've already registered and would like to enjoy other activities during your visit to Wine Country.

Team Competition:

Must have a minimum of 6 participants to qualify as a team. Team competition is cumulative score of best 5 times on team. Awards for fastest overall team score and best costumed team. Teams can be any combination of male and female runners and are handicapped according to age and gender.

Extras:

Guest Wine Glass
One wine glass included per each registered runner (must present ticket on race bib at post-race festival to claim glass). Registered runners may also purchase extra wine glasses online for guests. $15 includes logo glass and wine tasting at post-race festival ($20 at event). Limit is 2 extra glasses.

VIP Early or Late Packet Pickup (Free Packet Pickup is available at the Expo)
Thursday 10/27 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Packet Pickup, wine reception and meet and greet with staff and other runners at Sports Basement $20; or pick up your packet on race morning from 6:00am to 6:45am. Cost is $20.

Pre-Race Orientation & Wine Reception

A welcome reception will be held on Friday, October 28 at Truett-Hurst Winery. The reception will be held from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and includes wine and wood fired pizza! You'll have an opportunity to meet other runners from around the world, as well as event staff, other sponsors and a special guest. Wine tasting and appetizers are included. Cost is $30 in advance.

Extras:

Finishers Party
Saturday 1:30pm-4:30pm at Clos du Bois Winery. Celebrate your accomplishment with other runners and staff at this post-race party. There will be wine, BBQ, live music and lawn activities! Cost is $25.
