This is the registration page for Team Sweetness! 2011 Bank of America Chicago Marathon runners this will allow you to set up a personal fundraising page to support Team Sweetness. We greatly appreciate your efforts and look forward to cheering you on!

As a member of Team Sweetness you will receive:

  • Registration for the 2011 Chicago Marathon
  • CARA Marathon Training Program discounted rate!
  • Training – Fun Runs and other events
  • A running singlet
  • The opportunity to participate in 6th Annual Sweetness Run, Yorkville, IL. - June 2011
  • Fundraising tips and personal online fundraising page to aid your fundraising effort.
  • Aiding the children of Illinois and giving them a chance to have a brighter future
  • Pasta Dinner – October 8, 2011

  • Team Sweetness Commitments: When signing up for the Team Sweetness Marathon Team each runner must agree to the following:

  • Pay a $34 non-refundable participation fee, due with application.
  • Post-Close Entry - Raise a minimum of $1,134 for Team Sweetness by November 11, 2011, and submit at least half of that amount ($567) by October 1, 2011. (This amount will be guaranteed by the credit card used at the time of registration.)
  • Open Entry - I have already registered for the Marathon and would like to join Team Sweetness (Runners who have already registered for Chicago Marathon.) Raise a minimum of $434 for Team Sweetness by November 11, 2011 and submit at least half of that amount ($217) by October 1, 2011. The minimum fundraising commitment increases to $1,134 for individuals who use post-close entries.
  • Open Entry - I would like to register for the Chicago Marathon and Team Sweetness: – (Runners who would like to register for Team Sweetness and Chicago Marathon during open Registration) Raise a minimum of $634 for Team Sweetness by November 11, 2011 and submit at least half of that amount ($317) by October 1, 2011. (This amount will be guaranteed by the credit card used at the time of registration.) The minimum fundraising commitment increases to $1,134 for individuals who use post-close entries.

  • Also available to Team Sweetness members will be the following:

  • The first individual to raise $1,034 will receive a $50 gift certificate
  • The second individual to raise $1,034 will receive a $25 gift certificate
  • Additional prizes will be awarded for the top fundraisers.....Stayed tuned for more information on the prizes.
  • As a member of Team Sweetness, all runners who achieve their fundraising commitment will receive a "Sweetness" head band to wear on race day.

  • To register, you must be 16 years of age or older on event day. Individuals under 18 years of age must have a statement signed by their parent or legal guardian permitting participation.
