Event Description:

Join Susan G. Komen Marathon for the Cure® in training and running for the Rock 'n' Roll Dallas Half Marathon.

The Dallas Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon has ideal spring running conditions, a picturesque course, live music at every mile, a 2-day health & fitness expo, and much more! Come find your fun in Dallas!

Marathon for the Cure Fundraising Program benefits include:

  • Team discounts! Create a team of 3 or more people, and each team member will have a reduced fundraising minimum of $1,000.

    In order to participate with Marathon for the Cure, for the Rock 'n' Roll Dallas Half Marathon, you will need to commit to fundraise a minimum of $1,500. If you are a part of a team of 3 or more people, you will each need to commit to fundraise a minimum of $1,000. This number is set to keep our program costs low and to ensure your donations are utilized to maximize our investment in National breast cancer research as well as screening, education and treatment for the Dallas / Ft. Worth Metroplex area.

    The Cure Goes On (on the ground training program - all levels)
    We’re excited to offer The Cure Goes On, an optional on-the-ground training program for all levels of Marathon for the Cure® participants. This program is provided by Luke’s Locker, a running, walking, fitness and multi-sport specialty store. Training begins at all locations on December 5, 2009, but walkers and runners are invited to join the program through February 1, 2010.

    Dallas/Ft.Worth Metroplex participants only. Locations include Dallas, Ft. Worth, Colleyville, Allen and Plano.
