The Stanford summer day camps run for 8 weeks during the summer. At the day camps we will accommodate campers with a wide variety of ages and skills. The coaching staff will strive to educate and challenge the campers at a level on par with their experience. All experience levels welcome and we welcome those who have never rowed before. Our camp will teach each camper all of the basics of rowing. All of the daycamps will occur exclusively at the Stanford Rowing and Sailing Center at 300 Cardinal Way, Redwood City, CA. Daycamps will run from 9am-4pm.
Typical Day Schedule for Day Campers:
Campers will learn the basic techniques of land and water training involved in rowing. There will be a morning training session, followed by lunch and an afternoon training session. The campers should bring their own bag lunch.
Cost:
$450 per session
Ages:
8 - 18; NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
Location:
Campers use the beautiful new Stanford Rowing and Sailing Center in Redwood City, CA. The address of the Boathouse is 300 Cardinal Way, Redwood City, CA 94063.
What to Wear:
Campers should come with typical athletic gear. Shorts, T-shirts, and running shoes and sunscreen. Some campers bring athletic tape or gloves for their hands, but this is not required. Swimming suits are not necessary. Campers should not come to camp with only sandals as many aspects of the camp occur on land and require running shoes.
Registration:
Upon completing your online registration, you will be emailed a confirmation note of your camper's enrollment. Each camper must click on the health and release form link to download and print this document. This must be handed in to participate at camp.
