Brand new "hybrid" Marathon. Starting at Horsetooth Mtn. Park, running in the park (all dirt) and through Lory State Park (all dirt), joining the Half Marathon course just North of the North Dam Hill (Horsetooth Res) and finishing at New Belgium Brewery.
As of 04/10/2013 the marathon has 180 entrants. 20 spots still available. We will attempt to update routinely.
All Marathon participants will receive and "Inaugural Horsetooth Marathon" sweatshirt as part of their entry. 1st ever!!
Northern Colorado Half Marathon Series Challenge
The series is two Half Marathons: Horsetooth Half Marathon and the Inaugural Colorado Run Half Marathon on Labor Day 2013. Cost is $100 for both, a $20-$30 savings depending on sign up date. You must enter the series no later than the gun firing at Horsetooth Half event morning. Special prizes for combined performance will be awarded.
New Colorado Run Half Marathon
Labor Day 2013 Colorado Run is combining with Crossroads Half Marathon. New Half course starting at Poudre High School to Overland Trail, South to Hughes Stadium, loop around Hughes back onto Overland, south to Spring Canyon Park, loop Spring Canyon to Spring Creek Bike Path, finishing at the Awesome Fort Collins Club with full amenities available. Part of No. Colo Half Challenge

Course includes: Start at CSU Hughes Stadium, North on Centennial Dr. to Bingham Hill Rd, East to Overland Trail, short section on Overland Trail North to the Poudre Bike Trail at Lyons Park, East down the trail to Linden Ave. Left turn North and downhill to the finish at New Belgium. Net elevation loss 300 ft.
