About This Activity

Learn the expressive art of Belly Dance while getting a great low impact workout! This beginner class breaks down the basic movements of Middle Eastern Dance. Each class focuses on isolating moves to locate, strengthen, and tone the muscles. Participants will then combine isolated moves to create and practice beautiful dance movements. Each class ends with a fun and sassy combination using the movements learned that day so you always go home dancing! The hypnotic & rhythmic dance moves are challenging and fun, but also help to encourage grace coordination and self acceptance. (No class Apr. 1)
