Our mission statement at Camp Caleb is the Bible Verse Luke 2:52
- Luke 2:52 (NIV)
Although this may seem like a simple idea, it is the core of our work at Camp Caleb. From the meals we prepare to the games we play, it is all intended to facilitate the growth of EVERY guest while they are here in four ways: mental, physical, spiritual, and social.
What We Do
How do we strive to accomplish this mission statement? We provide events, staffing, and facilities to be used by churches, community organizations, and families in ways that glorify God and bring people closer to Him.
- Camp Caleb sponsored events (summer camps and retreats) – These events are designed for families or smaller churches and organizations who simply drop off and pick up their camper(s). We provide the rest. We cook all the meals, provide adult chaperones, do the scheduling and planning, and provide the games and activities. The staff is recruited, trained, and background checked. Our ministry during these events is to tie every single activity to the Gospel and bring in Biblically sound preachers who will speak to the campers each night. We do this all for a very reasonable camper tuition, and we have camps for ages 6 to 18.
- Rental events – Our facilities are available for churches and community organizations to rent for a broad range of events. We can host appreciation or fundraising banquets, field day outings, picnics, overnight or weekend retreats, or even full week summer camps. If you can imagine it, we can help you make it a reality. During these events, our ministry is hospitality and support, and our rental rates are a bargain.
- Work projects, missions, outreach – If you have a group interested in this type of event, we can provide you with work projects to do at the camp itself, or we can be your base of operations for a missions trip in the area. We can even help you plan the trip using our relationships with local Christian service organizations.
