SCHEDULE
Race starts at 9:00 a.m. – you will be going off in 5-minute waves, starting with the individual men, individual women, then 3-person teams, then 5-person teams. Day of race registration & t-shirt pick-up opens at 6:30 a.m.
THE COURSE
Work your way through 3 miles of natural dune obstacles, military style obstacles, push up stations, muddy obstacles, bay area water obstacles and meet fun active people from across the state. Get encouragement along the way by Local Corporate Volunteer Drill Instructors at each obstacle station. Compete as an individual, a 3-person or 5-person team.
There will also be a 1 Mile Kids Boot Camp Challenge for our Elementary School & Middle School kids in Texas.
PACKETS
Register by October 23rd to receive your race packet by mail! All packets will be mailed starting October 24th. Includes your race numbers and course information. Note: Team captains will be mailed all bibs and info for the entire team if all members sign the waiver.
TEAM CAPTAINS
Upon completion of your registration, you must have each team member agree to the event waiver to receive your race numbers by mail. Team waiver closes on October 23rd.
Have your team members do this ASAP!
Team captains are responsible for: making sure all team members sign a waiver, handing out the race numbers for your team, finding your team members on race morning, and making any substitutions necessary for the team. Please make sure you want to be a team captain before you register!

RULES OF THE ISLAND
Individuals welcome, Teams must consist of 3 or 5 members. All team members must cross the finish line together to qualify for awards.
Sorry, no dogs, baby strollers, or children under the age of 14 allowed on the 3 mile course.
Your race entry is non-refundable, non-transferable. Event is held rain or shine.
ARRIVE EARLY ON RACE DAY
There are 1,000 entrants expected and thousands of spectators coming onto South Padre Island Convention Center on race morning, so please arrive at the gate 1 HOUR PRIOR to the race start. Our great expo and t-shirt pickup opens at 6:30am. Come by and visit the many vendors at our event.
AWARD CATEGORIES
Individual age groups are 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49,50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.
3-person and 5-person team divisions are Male, Female, Mixed (min 1 female per 3-person teams, 2 females per 5-person teams), All military, Public Safety, Corporate & ROTC (5-person teams only). Kids will be in teams of 3 or 5 with three age categories. 7-8 yrs, 9-10 & 11-13. There will be no individual category for the kids.
AWARDS CEREMONY PROCEEDINGS
Unofficial results for the top finishers will be posted by the registration area 30-45 minutes after the first finisher crosses the line and updated every 30 minutes after. Awards ceremony will take place once the majority of racers are in. Awards will be given to the top 3 in each division above. No awards can be handed out prior to the awards ceremony.
