Why Tackle the SHAPE Diva Dash?

In an endurance world obstacle races may seem more geared for the male racer. However, SHAPE has taken that vision, made a few tweaks, and created the SHAPE Diva Dash. Kristine Scichilone, promotions director for SHAPE says, "There are not a lot of obstacle races out there for women. The company we partnered with, Adventure Fit, Inc., put together the Urban Assault Ride (male and female race together). Adventure Fit was so excited to do this with us because with the co-ed races it's mainly male. Races are usually skewed 70 percent male. Since there hasn't been anything out there that's female only, we are excited to know we are the only ones out there right now."

Whether you're an elite or a recreational athlete, nowadays you have plenty of race options to choose from.
