Clean Out Your Fridge

First thing's first: Get rid of all the holiday sweets, meats and other traditional food. If that heavy food is in sight, you'll be more eager to grab it. If it's in a friend's fridge or the kitchen at work, you won't be so tempted to eat it. Fill your fridge with seasonal produce and lean meats.

Give your body an extra boost of vitamins and minerals. Juicing can be loads of fun. Grab some of your favorite fruits and veggies to createa custom juice to your liking. You'll be gulping essential nutrients that you may have skipped over the holidays.
Burn Those Calories

Find an exercise program that you like. Whether it's strength training, yoga, Zumba, Pilates, CrossFit, running, cycling, swimming or kettlebell training, get on a program that you can commit to. Map out what days you'll do what on a calendar and at what time. This will help you stay on track.
Find a Workout Buddy

If you get bored working out solo or you just need someone to help you stay motivated, then find a partner. Workout Buddies are great because they help you commit to your goals. When you're struggling, your partner is there to help you push through rough patches. So get on Facebook, Twitter, community boards, or ask a neighbor.

What better way to get in shape than to sign up for a race? Use this as motivation to find a training plan to help you run strong in your next event. There are hundreds to choose from, so time constraints is not an excuse.
Join a Recreational Team

From dodge ball to softball, grab your friends and have a social hour doing a sport you all enjoy. These fun leagues are great to burn an extra couple hundred calories while socializing with friends.
