15-Minute Holiday Workout

The holiday season is here and that means that the days are shorter, shopping lines are long and your schedule gets busier and busier. With all that's going on, it's hard for you to find time to work out.

Don't worry—here's a great little workout that you can keep in your pocket for those days when you are on the road or just super busy.

The workout below incorporates three body-weight exercises that you can do anywhere. You repeat this short circuit for a certain amount of reps per set. It takes about 15 minutes to complete.

15-Minute Holiday Workout

Here are the exercises in order that you will do:

  1. Alternating Lunges
  2. Push Ups
  3. Squat Jumps

Total number of rounds: 10

Here is the rep scheme to follow for each round.

10 - 9 - 8 - 7 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1

So to clarify, for the first round you will do:

  • 10 Alternating Lunges (each leg)
  • 10 Push Ups
  • 10 Squat Jumps

Then you will repeat the same exercises for 9 reps to complete your 2nd round.

Example:

  • 9 Alternating Lunges (each leg)
  • 9 Push Ups
  • 9 Squat Jumps

Then repeat again until you get to the last round with one rep of each exercise.

It's a simple workout, but highly effective.
