Brief Description

The Playtri Kids Winter Fitness Camp is a multisport-based camp designed to help get kids active and excited about multisport and triathlon. Kids will bike, run, and practice functional strength training, while learning the strategy of participating in triathlon.

Additional Information

Participants should be able to ride a bike without training wheels and run 0.25 miles without stopping. Camp is USAT sanctioned - all participants must have a USAT annual membership OR purchase a one-day pass for $10 on the first day of camp (a separate pass will be required for the race on Sunday - athletes who choose to race are recommended to purchase an annual pass for $15). Athletes will need to provide their own bike and bike helmet, running shoes and comfortable exercise clothes.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
