Brief Description

Competitive weekly fall league for adults (both men and women). Played every Sunday from 12 - 3 PM.

Date and Times

The league will run every Sunday from August 29, 2010 to November 7, 2010 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 pm EST. There is no hockey on September 5, 2010

Availibility

Registration is open to all Adults.

Teams

There will be 5 teams again this Fall, split from a total of 125 participants. Returning Fall players will return to their original Fall teams from the previous year. Players who are really unhappy with their current team assignment can request to be randomly switched to another team if possible. New players will be assigned accordingly. Players will provide their own shirt. New Players will be notified by email by August 26, 2010 to confirm team assignments.

Venue

The league will be held on 2 turf fields at Roland Park Country School. ONLY water is allowed on the fields at all times. Please do not bring any colored liquids (gatorade) or food to the field at any time. Thank you for your cooperation.

Requirements

All participants must be USFHA members. If not, go to www.usfieldhockey.com for membership details.

Deadline

August 16, 2010 is the early registration deadline! Sign up as soon as possible to guarantee a spot in the league. This league will most likely fill up quickly so please complete your registration as soon as possible! If spots are still available after August 16th, a late registration will be available until August 23, 2010; or until the league reaches its maximum capacity of 125 participants.

Waiting List

If you would like to be put on the waiting list please contact Diana Hegmann at dweinapple1@verizon.net. The waiting list will only be used for replacement of a participant with permanent injury during the season.

Officiating

Each team will be required to officiate one game each Sunday. The team that is off and not playing will officiate. Please try to have a minimum of 3 players volunteer as weekly officials. These individuals will be the primary officials for the Fall League.

Waivers

All players must read and sign the USFHA & BFHA Waiver & Release of Liability. Waivers are included as part of the online registration process.

Uniforms

Players must provide their own shirt according to their team color. There are some shirts left over from Fall 2009 however, not all sizes and colors are available. If you are interested in purchasing a uniform shirt for $10, pending availability, please email Diana Hegmann at dweinapple@verizon.net with your size and color request.

In the case of inclement weather throughout the fall, please call our hotline at 410.558.BFHA (2342) to check the status of the league.

Additional Information

Participants to provide own colored shirts; however, you may have the option of purchasing a team shirt for $10.00 at the fields once placed on a team.
