The 2013 No Limits 5K is a road race. There will be both a male and a female overall winner. We will race in the rain. The No Limits 5K is in honor of Curt Cannon. Curt Cannon was a fun loving seven year old boy who gave new meaning to "full of life." April 10, 2011 Curt's life and the life of his family was forever changed when he was hit by a car while riding his bike in his neighborhood. Curt was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury and given a fifty percent chance of living through the night. When he did not awaken the next morning, the odds began to stack even higher against his recovery. Two weeks passed before Curt opened his big brown eyes. The doctors said it was probable he would not wake up...he did. They said he would not be able to see or communicate...he can. They said he would never walk...but on January 23, 2012 he ran. Through the love and determination of everyone involved in Curt's recovery, the prayers and dedication of his community and friends, and the grace of A Powerful God, Curt is a walking, talking, breathing miracle in progress. Curt has proven that in the race of life there are "No Limits."This years race will benefit the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and Nashville's Ronald McDonald House.
