About This Activity

Looking for a race to open the season?  Set in the high-desert this course is a fast and fun challenge perfect for knocking off the winter rust!

The race opens with a one mile swim at Farmington Lake, two 1/2 mile laps with a short beach run in between.  The 17 mile mountain bike course features 3 miles of uphill double-track, 12 miles of rolling fast single-track that you will love!  Terrain varies from sandy washes to hard packed trails.  The 6 mile run skirts Farmington Lake with steep climbs, sandstone ledges, sandy washes and scenic views.

This race features a unique and spectator friendly set up.  Athletes enjoy the ease of one transition area.  Start, Finish and Transition are centrally located so your fans can watch you throughout the race.  The race is attended by regional athletes that are very helpful and the relaxed atmosphere makes this a popular race with athletes new to the sport.
