About This Activity

The mission of I-Care is to build a home of hope, rescue, and restoration for women and children that have been affected by modern day slavery...also known as trafficking. With your help and support from our sponsors, this dream to build a home can become a reality.

As an added bonus...

Aimee Copeland who suffered from multiple injuries after a ziplining accident and who spent several months in an Augusta hospital, will be back. It is the desire of she and her family to give back to the area by participating in this event. Last year her famous words became "Let's Do This." So this year we're saying, "Let's Do This again" as Aimee Copeland and her family come to support the worthy cause of exposing women whose scars are not visible like hers but they run just as deep. So come run in our 5K to help raise money to build a home for women who have been rescued from sex trafficking and need a place of refuge.

T-shirts are not included in the family challenge registration but will be availible for purchase on the race website.

IF YOUR ARE PARTICIPATING IN BOTH EVENTS, use code SHEDLIGHT after individual registration to get $10 off. The code is ony valid for the 5k registation and will not apply to Family Challenge.
