Learn and use engineering principles to design and create projects that meet new challenges in a competitive environment. Build towers that climb the highest, build catapults that throw the farthest, build a hover craft that glides to the target, and build a slingshot that shoots the sharpest. Participants will build all projects themselves using simple materials. After construction, each student or group of students will enter their creation into a competitive challenge, where points will be earned by the performance of their project. The top performers for each day will win prizes and a grand prize will be awarded at the end of the week.
