The “Getting Started Right Camp” will emphasize the foundational skills of throwing, catching, hitting, fielding ground balls, fielding fly-balls, and baserunning. Proper baseball mechanics are the same at age 5-8 as they are at age 15-18. The youth player will be receiving the same instruction that Coach Jancuska has used for 34 years as an NCAA Division I Base-ball Coach and Youth Camp Director. There will be an emphasis placed on skill development stations with hands-on instruction. Each day will conclude with a game, which will allow our coaches to instruct in “game situations.” Though playing and practicing the game of baseball will be the focus of our staff, there will be an underlying theme of sportsmanship, positive attitude, hustle, and HAVING FUN!
