This conference will create a unified vision and ongoing support system for afterschool & youth service programs. This conference, open to all afterschool and youth development professionals, will: Provide participants with research-based and applicable best practices including information, tools, and resources to promote continuous program improvement, capacity building, and sustainability. Provide information, tools and resources that are framed by Georgia’s Afterschool Standards in order to promote a common state-wide language among providers, families, and funders around evidence-based best practices. Create opportunities for participant networking and collaboration with other state-funded programs as mechanism for promoting awareness of current resources, increasing the reach of programs, and facilitating effective use of current resources in order to maximize impact.
