About This Activity

The YMCA Run for Hospice is a 5K Fun Run / Walk and a 10K Run through the picturesque communities surrounding the Easton Family YMCA. Proceeds from this special event go to supporting YMCA Camp Lazy Days (a 5 week daycamp for children and young adults with special needs) and the Talbot Hospice Foundation.

If you are an ACTIVE member of the YMCA of the Chesapeake, please contact your YMCA branch for the member discount code to enter at checkout to receive the posted "member rate".

SLEEP WALKERS

If you wish to support the YMCA of the Chesapeake Camp Lazy Days and the Talbot Hospice Foundation, but you'd rather "sleep in" or go shopping, please register using the SLEEPWALKER category.

Children 5 & UNDER

Children 5 & UNDER may participate with no registration fee as long as they are accompanied by an adult registrant in the same event. Please contact Tracy Cohee at tjcohee@ymcachesapeake.org to reserve a t-shirt for your 5 & UNDER participant. Shirts are limited by size and available to the first 375 registrants.

Early Pick-Up for Race Bags

We will be offering an opportunity for all pre-registered participants to come to the Easton Family YMCA on Wednesday, November 21st between 4:30 & 7 p.m. to pick up their race "goodie bag" which will include your race shirt and race number with Bib Tag timing technology... no need to let us know you are coming... just make sure you do not forget to bring your race bib with you the day of the event... replacement bibs with timing tags will not be available if forgotten.

This post - Thanksgiving Day event draws 300+ participants of ALL ages from many different areas of the United States. Prizes are awarded by age group and gender in each event (6 - 12; 13 - 17; 18 - 29; 30 - 39; 40 - 49; 50 - 59; 60 and over). Children under the age of 5 may participate with no registration fee as long as they are accompanied by a paid registrant in the same event.
