Looking for one of the best all-around fitness workouts you can find? Erging (indoor rowing) might just be the answer! Erging is an efficient, low impact exercise that burns calories, provides cardiovascular benefits, and helps to improve strength and endurance. This class will be offered in the state-of-the-art Erg room at the Duxbury Maritime School. A rowing instructor will lead the introductory level class and will help students learn the proper techniques on a Concept rowing machine to achieve the most effective workout. No experience in rowing - on or off the water - is required. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Maximum enrollment 14.
