Carolina Godiva Track Club's Coach Bubba 2013 20 km & 4 Mile Races

About This Activity

Created to honor Bruce Koenig, affectionately known as Coach Bubba, the races will begin in historic downtown Durham near the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The 20 km course will wind through the Forest Hills neighborhood and the American Tobacco Trails (ATT). The 4 mile course is out and back on the ATT. This year, the primary charitable beneficiary of the race will be Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers (TROSA), a treatment and vocational rehabilitation program founded in Durham.

Discounts apply for members.Featuring in 2009�\tThe 20km is the RRCA State Championship Race.�\tChip timing with awards based on gun times.�\tAll registrants will receive a commemorative microfiber athletic towel customized with the Coach Bubba 2009 race logo.Awards for the top three male and female runners in the overall, masters, and age-group categories will be presented for both races. Awards will be based on gun times. There will be no cash prizes. The entry fee is non-refundable and entries may NOT be transferred to anyone else. The race committee reserves the right to reject any entry and to offer special invitations. Registration is limited to 800 entrants for the 20km and 400 entrants for the 4-mile. Registration will close when we reach the cap.
