Brief Description

Duathlon with 1/2 mile swim followed by a 5K run. We ask that all athletes be at Albee Beach no later than 8:00am. Our duathlon is open to ages 14+ and will consist of a ½ mile swim in beautiful Lake Wentworth and a 5k run through the scenic woodland trails of Wolfeboro N.H. ending at The Nick on rte. 28, directly across from the Allen Albee Hotel. Teams and individuals are welcome and shirts will be given to the first 50 athletes to register

Is available on race morning between 7:00 and 8:00 AM

All proceeds go directly to The Wolfeboro Area Recreation Association a non-profit formed to plan, construct and oversee facilities that provide recreational opportunities for both children and adults designed to enhance the quality of life and emphasize community values for all in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. THE COURSE SWIM: 1/2 mile swim from Albee Beach in Lake Wentworth. The swim will start in waves every three minutes. First wave starting at 8:30a.m. followed by heats 10 minutes apart. Swim caps and goggles recommended. No Wet suits allowed. RUN: 5k run through the scenic woodland trials also known as The Bridge Falls Path. The run will head south on the path and have a turn around point 1.55 miles out.
