Brief Description

This is a USAT sanctioned Duathlon and a 3.6 Mile Run/Walk

Venue

The Beautiful San Pablo Dam Reservoir is a stunning stage for this Duathlon and 3.6 Mile Run/Walk event. The race will begin at the Orinda entrance to the Reservoir. The course will be part paved road, part off-trail. Go to www.wolfpackevents.com for full descriptions, routes, maps, and pictures.

The Events

The Duathlon will be 3.6 Mile Run / 22 Mile Bike / 2.0 Mile Run. The Running event will be a 3.6 Mile Run/ Walk. This is a great event with lots of fun and camaraderie. All levels of competition are welcome and supported.

Awards

The 3.6 Mi Run/Walk will award plaques to the M/F winner Overall and Medals to 1st/2nd/3rd in each of the 5-year age groups. The Duathlon will go 5 deep in each 5 year age group and all awards are plaques. Additionally we celebrate our 40+ competitors with 10-year age group plaques through 70+.

Sanctioning

The Duathlon is a USAT Sanctioned event with points submitted toward your National competition. If you are interested in competing Nationally or Internationally consider becoming a member at www.usatriathlon.org. An annual membership will save you money over the Day Memberships.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
