Brief Description

Mid-May is the perfect time of year for a duathlon on the beautiful St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy campus in the City of Delafield and nearby Waukesha County areas. With the average temperature of 69 degrees, historic Delafield and surrounding areas of the Kettle Moraine will offer an experience participants and fans will never forget.

3.1-mile Run, 18-mile Bike, 3.1-mile Run

Registration

Register online or in person at packet pickup on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Farrand Hall Gymnasium, SJNMA between noon and 4:00 p.m., or Sunday, May 19, 2013, between 6:00 and 7:15 a.m. Also register for the Spaghetti Dinner, Saturday, May 18, 2013, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.! You will have a chance to see one of the most beautiful parts of St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy with a presentation by the SJNMA Silver Rifles drill team and listen to a MS Run the US, Inc. athlete.

What you should expect

You should expect a fast, safe, exciting event that you will be talking about forever! All participants and volunteer will receive a Dri-Wick shirt, chip timing, a spaghetti dinner Saturday night with a SJNMA Silver Rifles drill team presentation and motivational speaker, as well as food and fun after the event! There will be plenty of water and Hammer HEED stations along the course.

Pre- & Post-Race Information

Transition will close @ 7:15 a.m. Course closes at 11:00 a.m. and will be open to traffic. Any participants left on the course will still be allowed to finish, but will need to yield to traffic. An unmarked security guard will be located at the only entrance and exit of transition after the race and another will be located inside transition to protect and secure your equipment before, during, and after the event until transition closes for take down.

Finisher Expo

Our finishers experience and expo, in Rick Leone Field at Price Davis Field, will feature the Bucher Law Group's Delafield Duathlon sponsors, food provided by St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy, awards ceremony, and the ability to interact with other endurance athletes and their families!
