TriUtah's Utah Winter Triathlon Challenge is a unique event to give you a fitness barometer going into the winter months, burn off a little bit of the post Thanksgiving turkey & spuds, while competing against your fellow tri-geek friends!! Here's how it works:
Over the courses of two weeks (December 2th - December 13th), you schedule two appointments. The first is to swim 1750 yards (1 mile) at the Treehouse Athletic Club Pool. The second is to bike 25 miles on a Computrainer at Balanced Art Multisport. TriUtah staff will record your times and combine them in preparation for the final event, a 10k run on December 14th at Draper City Park. We will total your times and determine winners at the 10k finish.
Once you register, you will receive a race packet via email explaining how to schedule your swim and bike times, with the addresses and other event details. Then, you will need to contact TriUtah to schedule your time to Swim and Bike. Morning, Days, and Evenings will be available.
Awards will be given to the top 20 Men and Women. Sweet Medals. water bottles, & cool winter hat for everyone; plus post race food, hot chocolate, soup, and bragging rights at the 10k.
This event is only available to 150 participants-so register early here at active.com
