A Non-Refundable Deposit of $70.00 is available at checkout. Runners will spend four days on the banks of the North Fork River surrounded by positive attitudes all with the same interest at heart. This experience will help prepare you mentally and physically for the 2013- 2014 Cross Country & Track Season through workouts, classroom sessions, team building games, and lots of fun. This is a âmust doâ this summer.

About This Organizer

Wilderness Running Camps are running camps that focus on making the individuals that attend better runners and better overall people.  The camps include instruction on running, many team activities and challenges, recreational activities including but not limited to swimming, tubing, canoeing, ping pong, basketball, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, and more.  These camps feature well known and local speakers who speak on a variety of topics ranging from improving yourself as a runner to nutrition, purchasing the best shoe, and character development topics.  Wilderness Running Camps are owned and managed by Joe Bill Dixon, Head Coach of the West Plains Zizzers.  Coach Dixon is the winningest coach in the state of Missouri and his teams have the best record of any team in the state of Missouri.  Coach Joe Bill Dixon is a member of the Missouri Coaches Hall of Fame as well as the National Coaches Hall of Fame.
