Money raised from this fundraising project will go to providing scholarships for high school girls from the San Francisco bay area to spend a semester at sea (check out: http://www.tallshipsemester.org/programs/tssg/index.htm). In participating in this fundraising event I will be eligible to take part in a 3 day sailing opportunity from October 21 to October 23.
