Welcome to my Light the Night Fundraising home page!
Again this year I will be walking as part of the Friends of Allie National team for the Light the Night Walks to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The Light the Night Walks are The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's nationwide evening walks to raise awareness and funds to cure leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
My personal goal is to raise $1000.00 by September 18th.
A special thanks to those that have made donations so far! The names in purple gave $50 or more!

I am so fortunate to be walking with an incredible group of woman in the area,
our team goal is $6000,00. Our team is also walking in honor of 11 year old Nick Tyson, from Demotte, Indiana. Nick was diagnosed with Pontine Glioma in 2004. Nick and his family will be walking along side our team!
Our team name is Friends of Allie (FOA) and we will be walking in memory of Allie Scott [www.scotthousehold.com ], There are over 122 teams across the country walking in her memory as part of the FOA National Team. Allie was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) at only 5 months of age. People across the country followed Allie’s
courageous battle through her mother’s daily journal entries. Allie’s spirit and determination shone through every word written. Allie has touched so many of our lives and now we want to help make a difference in her honor. Allie passed away last September just shy of 9 months old but her memory continues to live on. This year the team is also honoring other brave young heroes battling leukemia such as Sam from TX,[www3.caringbridge.org/tx/sameisenberg/ ], Wyatt from WA [ http://www3.caringbridge.org/wa/wyatt/ ], Julianna from Canada [/www2.caringbridge.org/canada/julianna/ ], Sammy from VA [www3.caringbridge.org/va/princesssammy/] and many others across the country.
The national team goal is to raise $600,000.
