| The new Soundview Family YMCA's 50,000 square foot facility will include two large indoor swimming pools, state of the art exercise areas, computer rooms and a teen center. They are expected to break ground on the new facility in 2008. It will service the towns of Branford, North Branford, East Haven, Guilford, and Madison. With an anticipated 10,000+ members, the family-oriented facility will benefit the shoreline community with its programs fit for all ages, from child care opportunities to senior activities. With activities for the whole family, the Soundview Family YMCA provides a safe, fun atmosphere for the shoreline community. The Y's aquatics program alone will provide swimming lessons, team sports, and family recreation for all members. Day camp activities for children and families are also offered, along with various other activities for the entire family. |
