YSC's York Tour de Pink 2007 Presented by Hershey's is ready to roll. The annual four-day, 200-mile bicycle ride is scheduled for September 27 - October 1, 2007. Sponsored by York Peppermint Patties and The Hershey Company, 100 riders will arrive at Chocolate World in Hershey, PA, the afternoon of Thursday, September 27 for orientation and a send-off party. They begin riding the morning of Friday, September 28, and arrive at Hershey's Times Square Store in New York City the afternoon of Monday October 1. Riders will raise at least $2,000 each for the YSC.
The ride benefits the Young Survival Coalition, the only international network of breast cancer survivors and supporters dedicated to the critical concerns and issues unique to young women and breast cancer. Through action advocacy and awareness, the YSC seeks to educate and influence the medical, research, breast cancer, and legislative communities to address breast cancer in women 40 and under, and to serve as a point of contact for young women living with breast cancer. One-hundred percent of the money riders raise goes to the YSC.
