| West Valley Search and Rescue believes that our local communities deserve a team of professionals dedicated to providing wilderness search and rescue/medical aid, assistance to law enforcement during natural disasters and other emergencies, and wilderness safety education. We are an all-volunteer, 40-member strong team of unpaid professionals that dedicated over 20,000 hours last year conducting 50 search and rescue operations, training, and providing wilderness safety education to over 200 children. As an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely almost entirely on private donations and member dues to fund the costs of equipment purchases, training expenses and our public education program.
